March Message from Your Property Manager at Justison Landing

March 7, 2018

I hope that everyone has made it through the darker chilly days of winter, and like me, you are looking forward to venturing out and freeing yourself from underneath the ever-present throw blanket and sweatpants! Winter usually means comfort food from the crockpot and has become a time when eating out has turned to eating “in” from whoever delivers. I say Enough!

I had a conversation the other day with one of our residents who, like many of you, has not done a lot of exploring beyond the Riverfront when it comes to local restaurants and bars, so I thought I’d share a local gem called the 8th & Union Kitchen. They have a little bit of everything there and, for those who need it, pretty impressive gluten-free options. At the recommendation of a friend, I went for Brunch on a Sunday. It was not only amazing, but we also ended up hanging out to listen to live Jazz and sample the Bloody Mary Bar afterward! So… I am passing on the recommendation to all of you. If you have not been there yet, you definitely need to check it out and then make sure you let me know what you thought. For specials and directions, go to 8thandunion.com.

We’re sending luck your way this St. Patrick’s Day! Join us for our monthly Resident Happy Hour on Thursday, March 15 at 5 pm. Feel free to help yourself to a beverage or two from the bar cart placed in the Justison St lobby and mingle with your fellow Justison Landing neighbors. The first 20 residents to come to the happy hour will also be able to pick up a pair of free tickets to a Guns and Roses tribute concert at The Queen on Saturday, March 17, at 8 pm. Available on a first come first serve basis (limit one pair per resident).

On that note, be on the lookout for information coming out soon about a new Social Group that we are starting for all ResideBPG residents. The focus is on creating new and fun things for you to do within the Wilmington community. These events and activities will be open to everyone, and we encourage you to bring your friends, too! We would love to hear from you as to what things you’d be interested in doing, so all suggestions are welcome. As always, you can see everything going on in the area on our Instagram & Facebook page @residejustisonlanding, so stay tuned and get ready to have some fun!

Lastly as a friendly reminder, please make sure we have your email on file so that you can receive important community updates, monthly newsletters, and exclusive discounts to local businesses! To read the rest of this newsletter, check your inbox for your monthly ResideBPG Play Where You Live email.
