Head to Harvest Ridge Winery for a Special Event on July 26

July 17, 2017

Harvest Ridge Winery was a labor of love for Chuck Nunan and wife Chris. He started out making wine for himself and his family in the basement in the mid-90s, and it wasn’t until 2011 that he took the venture to the next level. That was the year that Chuck and Chris planted their first grape vines, and the rest is history. Harvest Ridge Winery is now an integral part of its community. In fact, it hosts Wine and Wheels Wednesdays with Harvest Ridge Winery at New Garden Park.

Every fourth Wednesday of the month, including July 26th, Harvest Ridge Winery pours its vino at the park. Nearby, Rebel Seed Cider offers its delicious, sweet libations, as well. Treat the whole family to overstuffed sandwiches from Hood’s BBQ Food Truck, and then cap off the evening with something sweet from Punk’d Pineapple Ice Cream. Enjoy live music by local band the Moon Dawgs as the evening unfolds. The event runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and admission is free, but bring cash to pay for food and drink.
