Movies On Tap Offers Cult Classics, Craft Beer, & Charitable Donations
October 26, 2017Each month Penn Cinema on the Riverfront hosts Movies On Tap to celebrates local breweries, classic cult films, and community causes. In partnership with Premier Wine & Spirits and Out & About Mag, Movies on Tap features a meet-and-greet tasting opportunities with some of the area’s most beloved breweries and their brewers while providing a rare opportunity to view cult-classic films on the big screen. Moviegoers have the unique opportunity to hang out with a local brewer, sample and learn about specialty craft beer, and then watch a classic film of the brewer’s choosing – all for a good cause. A percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales are donated to a charity of the brewer’s choice. Movie tickets are $20 and include beer flights and unlimited popcorn.
You can check out Movies on Tap for yourself this Thursday, October 26, with a special Halloween showing of Young Frankenstein and beverages from Agrilla Breweing Co. The doors open at 6:30 PM for the beer tasting and the screening begins at 7:00 PM. All proceed will benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, and attendees will have to opportunity to meet an amazing family associated with the foundation.
